Forte is a musical term in Italian meaning "loud”, “strong” and “powerful”. It also means “strength” in English. Join HKPW Junior’s Forte! Play with HKPW@Summer 2024, a summer intensive wind band training, to learn how to play music with confidence, and also add ensembleship to your strengths.

是流行還是經典？今天我們所認知的「古典音樂」也曾是當年的流行曲。好的作品在任何時代也會有知音，今天的潮流也會造就後世所稱的經典。

在「Pop/Classics流行定經典」音樂會中，香港演奏家管樂團及少年團將會為大家送上不同年代的「流行曲」。音樂會節目老少咸宜，歡迎家庭觀眾到場欣賞。

Is it Pop or Classics? What we know as 'classics' today were once 'pop music' at the time of their creation. A good piece of contemporary music may become timeless. Today's pop music defines the 'classics' in the future.

At the 'Pop/Classics' concert, HKPW and HKPW Junior will present to you a range of 'pop music' from different eras, which will surely include some 'pop/classics' that you grow up with.

疫情後嘅第一個萬聖節，啲公主返曬嚟開party——黃色裙嘅係貝兒、藍色係灰姑娘、上藍下黃係白雪、藍裙白紗係Elsa⋯⋯王子呢？一律笠件披肩揸把劍，全部都叫「白馬」。

「話哂都係男主角吖T_T，有冇人記得我地？」透明男主角們邀請各位小朋友盛裝出席「童真7」音樂會，一齊重溫多首經典故事主題音樂，希望大家再次認識佢地！

At the first post-pandemic Halloween, we saw many lovely princesses — Belle in yellow, Cinderella in light blue, Snow White in blue and yellow, Elsa in blue and white… What about the princes? Always “Princes Charming” donning a cape and a sword.

“We are always ‘the guy’ in the story.” Our Mr. Invisibles would like to reintroduce themselves to you through a journey of classic fairytale theme music. Dress up and come to the Childhood 7 concert!

HKPW自2019年舉辦「Forte! 一齊玩管樂團」暑期班，旨在讓志同道合的年輕樂手建立友誼（friendship）及朋輩學習的習慣、提供演奏及演出的機會（opportunities）、培養團員的責任感（responsibility）、訓練團員的演奏技巧（techniques）及音樂表達能力（expressiveness）。

今年暑期班成果展演音樂會將會有香港演奏家管樂團及少年團加入演出，讓更多喜愛管樂團的樂手在HKPW這個平台上繼續「一齊玩」，與觀眾同享現場合奏的樂趣。

Since 2019, HKPW has launched Forte! Play with HKPW, a summer intensive training programme aiming to foster friendship and peer learning for young musicians, offer opportunities to play and perform music, encourage responsibility, and strengthen members’ musical techniques and expressiveness.

This year, HKPW and its junior members will join the Forte! showcase concert, a platform for wind band players and audiences to enjoy live music together.

2023年是華特迪士尼公司成立100週年，這個傳奇的夢幻王國始於米奇老鼠的誕生。 為了讓大家重温這100年來迪士尼帶來的眾多經典故事，Dreamers長號合奏將演奏10多部迪士尼經典動畫電影中風靡全球的歌曲，從迪士尼第一部電影《白雪公主》（1937年）到最賣座的《冰雪奇緣》（2013年），從非洲草原的《獅子王》（1994年）到海底的《小魚仙》（1989年）。Dreamers誠邀你參與這場神奇的音樂會，欣賞這些為長號合奏改編的迪士尼熱門歌曲，同享夢幻的音樂時光。

The year 2023 marks the centenary of The Walt Disney Company, the legendary magical dream maker that started with the creation of Mickey Mouse. To celebrate the greatest stories from Disney, Dreamers Trombone Ensemble is going to perform our favourite songs from    10+ classic Disney animated films, from Snow White (1937) the first Disney film to Frozen (2013) the highest-grossing film in record, from The Lion King (1994), The Jungle Book (1967) to The Little Mermaid (1989). Enjoy these Disney hits specially rearranged for a trombone ensemble. May our dreams come true with you at this magical concert.

香港演奏家管樂團隆重呈獻全新音樂會系列「五行」。五行是對宇宙間萬事萬物的五種不同屬性的抽象概括，和陰陽學說一樣，為古代中華文化的重要成分。「五行」音樂會系列，串連以「金、木、水、火、土」為創作靈感的管樂作品，與觀眾感受五行中的剛柔變化、相生相剋。在此系列的首場音樂會，樂團將演奏多首關於「水」及「火」的管樂作品。

Hong Kong Performers Winds proudly presents a new concert series, "Elements". The Five Elements is an abstract summary of the five attributes of everything in the universe. Like the theory of Yin and Yang, it is an essential component of ancient Chinese culture. The "Five Elements" concert series features wind band music works inspired by "metal, wood, water, fire, and earth". We hope to deliver the multi-characteristics of each element and their mutual generation and overcoming through music. In the first concert of this series, HKPW will perform several wind works on "Water" and "Fire". Programme

樂譜一般都是黑白分明，絕對談不上色彩繽紛。HKPW特意挑選了絢麗璀璨的曲目，在2023年首場音樂會「繽紛樂譜」中演奏，祝願各位新一年生活多姿多彩。除了光譜和聲譜外，「Spectrum」也可指不同的思想和價值觀。樂團希望以音樂宣揚和而不同的態度，祈求世界和平，人人相處和洽。

Music scores are typically black-and-white, but our Music Spectrum concert will bring you a colourful programme performed by HKPW. “Spectrum” not only refers to light and sound, but also values across a continuum. Let’s celebrate peace and harmony in 2023 with live wind band music!
